Joe Esposito mußte sich einer Augenoperation unterziehen. Obwohl sich Joe in seinem Haus gut erholt, mussten die Ärzte gestern eine unangenehme Nachrichten bekannt geben. Aufgrund der Operation darf Joe in den nächsten Monaten nicht fliegen. Das bedeutet leider auch, dass Joe nicht an den TCB Shows in Europa im Januar nächsten Jahres teilnehmen kann. Es wird jedoch trotzdem einen “special Guest” auf der Tour geben: kein geringerer als JERRY SCHILLING hat die Einladung, seinen Kumpel Joe zu ersetzen, akzeptiert. Mit Jerry auf Tour und Joe, der sich zu Hause erholen kann, hat Tour-Promoter Dennis Jale eine perfekte Lösung gefunden. Quelle: Elvis Matters

Dieses Schreiben hat Jerry geschickt :

My dear friend Joe Esposito recently had eye surgery, and his doctor does not want Joe to fly for the next three months, so Joe has asked me if I would stand in for him. I let Joe know I would be honored, and jokingly told him that I am standing in for him as much as I did for Elvis in the movies. Joe has had a very rough year, and I am glad to be here for him, and I know you all will understand.

I am very much looking forward to seeing the Elvis Fans again in Europe, and meeting new Fans, and traveling to some new countries that I have not had the opportunity to visit before.

Unfortunately I will not be able to do the entire tour due to previous commitments I have already made. ( January 15th to 27th 2013 )
